I've heard a lot about this site and a friend gave me the site to view. I currently run the FEI Course
at Ft Rucker and have been working on giving the Hooker community the best enlisted standardization product
in the Army. This site is very well put together and I am proud to be able top join in amongst the prestige
on your site. Thanks again. WildOne FEIC NCOIC |

Mark, I just want to think you and who ever else is maintaining the 228th web page. Thru it I have
gotten in touch with several old friends from those times, and I really appreciate it. I had taken some
pictures of Robert Bartlett "surfing" on an air mattress at Chu Lai. By the time I got the pictures back,
he had DEROS'd, and I didn't have an address for him. I have had the pictures almost 33 years, and I
figured that I would never find him. Then last week he saw my name on the web page, and wrote to me. Sure
was GREAT to hear from an old buddy. THANKS A WHOLE LOT!!!! |

Mark: Thanks for doing the hook family a long needed service. I have located lots of people from the
past that I thought I would never see again. I hope you continue to gather names at your present rate.
THANKS |

One of the people I was requesting info on has been found. If possible could you remove my post for
Ronald Robinson. I'm still looking for the other two guys, someone knows where they are. Thank you for
putting this site up, you are doing a great service for all the Hookers out there. |

Excellent idea!!!!!! Thank you for starting and maintaining this page. The 47 community is not as
small as everyone says, but we are a close knit bunch. I was able to Email guys I haven't heard from
since Desert Storm. Have you ever thought about a memorial page? Perhaps a page similar to your current
one where guys could post the info on 47 crew members who we have lost. Wally Fox and his crew that
crashed at Campbell a few years back comes to mind. I'm a computer novice to the extreme or I would offer to help. |

Excellent Database. I will encourage other "Hookers" to submit. Will you add graphics and/or photos to
your sight, or possibly make it possible for people to exchange photos from days gone by via the Internet? |

I was in the 213th in 66-67 (The Black Cats.) I have been looking for an old hooker that got out in 86,
Name George E. Lake. With your Web site I have come close to finding him. I e-mailed about 30 men that were
on your list these men I thought night have served with George. I have information that George moved to PA
in 1986 when he got out of the Army. It will take time, but I will find him. I know for myself and other
men that are just starting to look for and find old friends, that your Web site is a God send.
Thank You for all your work. Mike Brown (A BLACK CAT FROM PHU-LOI) |
